AURIX Warranty (Limited)

1) Coverage & Term

Main Unit (chiller, control system, electronics, compressor, heat-exchange assembly): 2-year limited warranty from the original purchase date, for normal residential use.
Consumables (e.g., filter cartridges, O-rings, sealing rings, hoses, quick-connect fittings, valves): 90 days warranty.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser from AURIX or an authorized reseller.

2) DOA & Shipping Damage

If a functional defect or shipping damage is confirmed within 7 days of delivery to the customer’s address, AURIX will provide a one-for-one replacement unit at no cost.
Customer must notify AURIX within 7 days of delivery to the customer’s address and provide photos/videos and the shipping label/box if requested.

3) Warranty Solutions

If a covered defect is verified, AURIX will ship the full replacement part or module to the customer for convenient self-installation. AURIX will provide remote video guidance to assist with the replacement. DOA/shipping damage falls under Section 2.
Replacement Term: Repaired/replaced items carry the remaining warranty of the original product; if less than 90 days remain, a minimum 90-day warranty applies to the repaired/replaced item.

4) Eligibility Requirements

Warranty service requires:
Valid proof of purchase from AURIX or an authorized reseller;

Product serial number/labels intact;
Use in accordance with the user manual and no unauthorized modification, opening, or repair.

5) Normal Use Requirements (important)

To qualify as “normal residential use,” the following must be met:
Power: Correct voltage/frequency and properly grounded/GFCI-protected outlet; no extension cords not rated for the load.
Ventilation & Placement: Unobstructed airflow; do not cover vents; avoid direct sunlight/heat sources; outdoor use must be sheltered.
Water & Filtration: Maintain balanced water chemistry and replace filters as recommended (typically every 4–6 weeks, or ~30 days under heavy use)
Winterization/Freezing: At or below 0 °C / 32 °F, unplug and fully drain the tub, lines, pump and chiller.
Power Outages: For outages > 1 hour, drain the pump/system according to the manual.
No Direct Ice: Do not add ice directly to the tub.
Original Parts: Use AURIX-approved hoses, fittings and accessories.

6) Exclusions (Not Covered)

This warranty does not cover:
Customer negligence or improper use (dropping, impact, mishandling, incorrect plumbing/wiring, blocked airflow).
Water ingress due to incorrect hose connection; scale, corrosion, biofilm or clogging caused by poor water chemistry/poor filtration maintenance.
Unauthorized modification/repair/tampering or use of non-approved parts.
Any damage resulting from failure to winterize or to drain after extended power loss.
Commercial/professional use (gyms, spas, clinics). For commercial warranty options, contact AURIX.

7) Costs & Responsibilities

Within warranty: AURIX covers the cost of spare parts and outbound shipping from AURIX.
Out of Warranty: The customer is responsible for the cost of replacement parts as well as all associated shipping charges.
AURIX may require return of defective parts/units for inspection.

8) How to Make a Claim (RMA Process)

Contact support (order number, serial number, detailed description).
Provide photos/videos and perform remote diagnostics as instructed.
AURIX will respond within 1 business days with the resolution (parts shipment, depot repair, or replacement) and shipping instructions.

9) Limitation of Liability & Consumer Rights

To the extent permitted by law, AURIX’s liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund up to the purchase price. AURIX is not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages (downtime, loss of use/income, water damage to surroundings, etc.). This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights that vary by jurisdiction.

10) Region of Service

Service is provided in regions where AURIX sells and ships products. Remote or cross-border locations may require additional shipping time.

11) Definitions

Main Unit: the chiller assembly including compressor, condenser/evaporator, control board, sensors, pump (if integrated), and enclosure.
Consumables: items intended to wear or be regularly replaced (filter cartridges, O-rings, seals, hoses, quick-connect fittings, valves, gaskets).
